I had an unique path to becoming a physician. I was an an English Literature major, in love with the written word, a poet and a writer.

 I was a massage therapist, in love with providing care and comfort to the clients on my table.

And then, at the age of 35, I decided to enter the world of Western Medicine. A path that has been full of challenges and gifts, dark times and breakthroughs.
