I am a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician, also known as a physiatrist, currently working in Reno, Nevada, right next to the gorgeous Lake Tahoe in the Sierra Mountain Range. 

I specialize in taking care of patients who are recovering from strokes, limb amputations, brain tumors, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. I am a doctor of patients with physical impairments and disabilities.

My life inside and outside of work is full of so much grace and magic. I am a writer, mother of a grown daughter, nature lover, wife to a fantastic husband, spiritual seeker, and an overall lover of all that life throws in my direction. 

I enjoy talking, thinking, and writing about the things that are most important to me in my life: being a compassionate doctor, moving my body and making healthy life choices, creating meaningful connections with friends and deeper connections with my family, as well as recognizing the beauty of the natural world.
